CONCEPT
'Jungle' is Chanpan's first single following the story of three heroes --- racing through time and space in the digital worlds created in Unreal Engine at WLAB, shot on a cutting-edge 30ft x 11ft curved LED wall with a pixel pitch of 2.3mm.
A project that started from a conversation in the middle of the concrete jungle in Central Park, sparked over a joint, bounced over a volleyball, and seasoned by some chickpea puffs, the main goal was to experiment & play by putting different creatives around the world in the same room, and it was just that.
Directed by Grace Dumdaw, a Burmese actor & lead singer of the band with Matthew & Lance Tran on guitar and drums - Assisted by Jay Seba, London-based Director - Shot & Edited by Santiago Elliot from New York - SFX by Nica Tan from Los Angeles - Lighting by César Oyarzabel from Paris - World-building by Unreal Artist Robin Altman from New Jersey - Camera Assist by Pablo Freese-Fernández from Puerto Rico - Nail art by Carmen Urizar from Guatemala - along side many others, this project places emphasis on connecting a wide range of creatives from different cultures and communities to create its own kind of world-building in its process.
